Negative Pressure Monitors

The NPM Series of Very Low Differential Pressure Monitors manufactured to precisely measure and record the pressures obtained within contaminated areas. This enables an area to be monitored to ensure that the required pressure is maintained below or above ambient.

The NPM Monitor is available from a single channel; the NPM 100, up to 6 channels; the NPM 600, a separate monitor is available for 8 channels and over. Each channel of the monitor will measure the pressure differential in one area against ambient. This information is displayed on the LCD Display and is printed out on the integrated printer which is fully programmable to site requirements. If more channels are required the NPM Monitor can easily be upgraded to 6 channels for measuring multiple areas, airlocks and transit routes.

Designed for the European Asbestos Removal Market with a host of features available including display and instructions in all European Languages. Utilising the latest computer micro-chip technology the NPM Monitor is programmed to meet and exceed the regulations in all European Countries and is easily updated as it can be reprogrammed on site.

Simple to use, simply switch it on, select the language required, and follow the instructions on the LCD Display, Parameters set together with start time and date are displayed and printed as required.
The inbuilt Power Switching Unit, PSU, ensures constant pressure is maintained. When the pressure falls below the minimum, caused by either blocked filters, fan failure, or the containment doors are opened, the monitors alarm will sound, the pressure indicator will flash and the channel number will be displayed. The PSU will start an emergency standby extractor fan, automatically switching it off when conditions return to normal. As a pressure fault occurs the monitor will print the fault conditions as programmed.

Alert CM2
To assist site safety, the NPM Monitor has two external outlet sockets which can be used to connect an external alarm, warning light or automatic telephone dialing system activated when the pressure falls outside the set parameters. The NPM Monitor has an internal battery and no memory loss will occur when not in use.

A low cost, direct reading instrument, used for both air velocity and static pressure tests

The U-Tube is taped to the outside of the polythene sheet enclosure.
The attached tube is pushed trough the polythene sheet into the enclosure and the little white ball inside the tube indicates the difference in pressure between the two areas, providing an analogue reading of the same information displayed by the 2 NPMs shown above.
The instrument measures the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the enclosure, to confirm that the enclosure has negative pressure.
