CM3 Pressure Monitor - Specification -
Alarms
Use
this button to return to the Specification Overview
The CM3 has four alarms A, B, C, and D which are
selected by a switch on the display panel. Each of the alarms has thee settings -
- Low Pressure - the difference between ambient and the
internal pressure of the containment area is too low.
- High Pressure - the difference between ambient and the
internal pressure of the containment area is too high.
- Over Pressure - the difference between ambient
and the internal pressure is at a dangerously high level that could threaten
the integrity of the containment area. This alarm is set to 40 Pascals or
the equivalent in the other units.
The CM3 gives an audible and visual alarm with twin red alarm
LEDs and an internal buzzer. A Low Pressure alarm is indicated by a slow pulsing
of the LEDs and buzzer whilst a High Pressure alarm is indicated by a rapid pulsing.
During an Over Pressure alarm the LEDs and buzzer are energised
continuously. In a Low or High Pressure alarm condition the buzzer can be silenced by
pressing the silence button although the LEDs will continue to flash until the
pressure has normalised. During an Over Pressure alarm the buzzer cannot be
silenced and will continue to sound until the pressure has normalised. The CM3 is supplied with the four alarms preset as
shown in the table but they can be adjusted to other values - See Programming.
