CM3 Pressure Monitor - Specification - Programming Alarms

Use this button to return to the Specification Overview

The CM3 has four alarms A, B, C, and D which are selected by a switch on the display panel. Each of the alarms has thee settings. The CM3 is supplied with settings ready loaded but these can be reprogrammed to suit local requirements. (See the Alarms page for the values of the preset alarms) The unit is designed so that the programming function can be carried out away from the site and the values selected on site using the four position switch. It is also possible to adjust the time and date, the units of measurement and the alarm relay operation.

The programming operation is carried out in twelve simple steps which are described in detail in the Programming Guide supplied with each CM3. The first eight steps set the time and date, units and the alarm relay operation. The last four steps set the alarm levels for the four switch positions. When in programming mode the pushbuttons, display and printer have different functions to prompt the operator and confirm the new settings. The first digit of the display flashes the current step number and the remaining two digits of the display show the current value. Pressing the buttons allows the operator to increase or decrease the value. When the value is correct it can be entered and the printer will confirm the value. At the end of the process the operator will have a printout showing all the settings in the machine.
