SMH Wet Strip Injection machines safely aid in the removal of asbestos from a variety of surfaces using a liquid surfactant.
It is an HSE requirement that all asbestos removal contracts are undertaken with dust suppression techniques, complying with Regulation 8 in the approved code of practice.

SMH Controlled Multi-Point Wetstrip Injection Systems are now available with multi-point injection needles and a full range of accessories to meet all asbestos contractors individual requirements.

SMH Wet Strip Injection Machines are designed to conform to HSE PAS60 Specifications:
Part 1 (PAS 60/1): "Equipment used in the controlled removal of asbestos-containing materials." Controlled wetting of asbestos-containing materials. This specification includes sections on design, instructions for installation and use, labelling and conformity marking with an annex on flow measurements from needles.

The new easy to use machines, can be used with needles, spray guns or the hedgehog. Excess surfactant is pumped back into the system to keep the mixture from settling. An alarm sounds and the pump stops when the Wet Strip Liquid runs out.

New Models

Two new easy to use machines have been designed to be used by all by all Asbestos Removal Contractors. Just empty 5 litres of any wet strip liquid surfactant in to the tank and fill up with water to either the 50 or 55 litre mark. Connect the required injection system either using needles, spray gun or the hedgehog. As the surfactant is pumped through the asbestos, excess is recirculated back into the tank to keep the surfactant mixture from settling. When the tank is empty an alarm sounds and the pump stops. Simply empty another 5 liters of Wet Strip Liquid in to the tank, fill with water and start again.

Wet Strip Machine WM 250

As easy to use as the WSM 50 but manufactured for contractors who undertake the larger jobs. Add 25 litres of Wet Strip Liquid, connect a water supply and this model fills up automatically when the tank is full.
