Ideal for long-term sites where the Decontamination Unit is permanently sited and does not have to be moved frequently from site to site. The Static Unit therefore is more secure as you may need a flatbed to move it, it therefore cannot be stolen by anyone with a van or even a car.
The Unit can be built with external steel panels, as weight is generally not a problem, this reduces the risk of vandal damage.
Steel doors are also used making the Unit far less accessible to the passing vandals.
Built on a box framework the static Units are manufactured where a long term need for a decontamination unit exists that will not be easily moved or just for added security when on site as the Unit cannot be just towed away.

The layout follows the same style as the 150 series towed Deon Units, Clean, Shower & Dirty, but as more space is frequently available, and weight is not a problem, with more men using the Unit static units are generally built with 4 stages, this included a drying room, to towel dry in, leaving the shower water running continuously for the next operative to shower clean and decontaminate himself in. The Drying Room can be fitted with larger wash hand basin’s to wash thoroughly the masks.
The Static Unit can be built for industrial customers requiring a site shower at a specific point where personal undertake dirty or hazardous processes and require to wash clean immediately without carrying waste around the industrial location or site.
Construction

External: Polyester GRP, Steel or Aluminium

Filling: Plywood or Foam Insulation

Internal: White Polyester GRP options: Steel, Aluminium GRP Polyester or Melamine

Colours: Typically white but can use any external colour

IMPORTANT: Note we do not recommend dark units outside as in summer the sun heats up the unit and distorts the shape, going from square to round.

Typically: 4M x 2.4M, 5Mx 2.4M or 6M x 2.4M
Delivered: Any size up to 12M x 2.4M for road transport
Built On-Site: From 1M x 1M to any size

Specification
Typically these use electric showers connected to a 30 amp supply or alternative heating can be from a hot water tank or even a gas water heater.

Assembly
The Units are assembled in our factory and are delivered to site where an electrical connection and water supply needs to be connected before the unit is ready for use.
The boxed framework can be white powder coated to match the exterior.
Arriving on site, jack the legs down onto a flat surface provided by paving slabs or railway sleeper’s dependant on the ground the unit is to stand on.
